Genetic Transposer

 

• Copies genetic information between templates and samples
• A set of Labware is consumed per 5 operations on average (can be inserted from any side)
• Consumes 20,000 MJ per operation
• To copy Templates:
  • Put the source templates in the top left slot
  • Put destination template in in the left slot
  • Destination template must be either empty or contain other samples from the same organism (in which case they will be combined in the result)
  • Templates can be inserted and extracted from any side, the source template will only be extracted if there’s no ongoing copy process and the input slot is empty
• To copy Samples:
  • Put the filled sample in the top left slot
  • Put the blank sample in in the left slot
  • Sampless can be inserted and extracted from any side, the source sample will only be extracted if there’s no ongoing copy process and the input slot is empty
